Kim Weinstein has been doing make up for a very long time, starting in retail, branching out to television and currently balancing that with private clients. She is also the author of the beauty guide? Pretty City New York published in 2003. She's working on her novel now. With a few agents interested, she'll let you know.

Eliana T. says of the personal makeover:
"Just wanted to say thanks for your makeup advice. I bought everything you suggested...applied it and I think it looked pretty good. My husband liked it, too (the true test!). It was really the look I was after but could never figure out how to do on my own. I especially like the foundation and the eyeshadow and the lipsticks. I would have never found them on my own."
Lunch Time Makeup Bag Purge
Let's meet. I'll evaluate your things and make recommendations and offer a mini-lesson with a face chart. We can either go shopping together or you can take my list with you at your leisure. My department store connections make shopping a breeze. This is also great for groups in a private or corporate setting.
$150 for one and group rates are available.
Send me two pictures taken in natural daylight and the list of products you currently have. I will send you a questionnaire and when it is completed, I will send you a shopping list and a face chart. We will continue to communicate until you have the look right.
$200 first time, $150 subsequent seasons
Eva F. says of the E-Make Over:
"It is my misson to un-clutter my life and you helped me do that...I'm really glad I did this--I didn't realize it but I didn't want 5 or 6 blushes or 10 or 11 lipsticks...I just wanted makeup that makes me look good on me and my coloring...and so you have helped me achieve that...I am now a recovering color drunk addict."
Services include a trial, which is deductible from the wedding day. I can also work with up to three other people on your special day. Above that, I have assistants available.
$50 for a trial, deductible on the day of the wedding, $300 for the wedding day, $150 for each additional person.
Ellen C. says of my wedding services
"Kim's makeup job truly made me look best for my wedding day, and it even lasted through the many tears I shed through my father's poignant father-of-the-bride speech. Furthermore, Kim is great with people and kept us on schedule despite significant time constraints."
Like a Make Over, but this is a more strategic, professional matter. Heavier on the makeup lesson and you get a really organized makeup bag at the end.
Clients have included Presidents and CEO's of Fortune 500 companies. I would tell you who they were, but I'd have to kill you.
If someone can get me a photographer to update the images on my site, I'm looking for eager, talented photographers who want to test. Please, send them my way.
Yes, yes, the novel. I'm waiting to hear back from the agent. I've written the other book already and I was just published in Time Out New York. Other publications are Beauty and Fashion. And I am currently the Beauty columnist for UniversityChic.com. And don't forget my blog.
I am always looking for new products. Please send me a press release or the actual products. Really. But I can't endorse products I don't believe in, just so you know.
